Empecemos por las dificultades:
1. La cara tiene un alto de cuatro centímetros (sin contar el pelo).
Estoy enloqueciendo con intentar modelarla, colocar bien las notas de valor/saturación, que no quede "dibujada", que no quede sosa/pulida y con especial énfasis en no perder la estructura. Auch.
2. Es la primera vez, lo noto ahora, que hago una pintura sin "sombras fuertes". Es decir, la sombra siempre te da un lugar del cual agarrarte y modelar. Te ayuda a estructurar, en una palabra. En este caso sin embargo, la figura recibe plena luz del día, lo que mata todas las sombras. El volumen se da por sutiles cambios de valor y saturación en un rango muy pequeño. Terrible!!

Yep but you have to be disorganised to realise you need to be organised. I still struggle to paint and am very unorganised lol. So much to learn hey! Everyday I read on RP, they are such great painters there aye. I am so impressed with your paintings and cast study. You will learn so much going to GCA I am jealous I want to go too lol!

I really appreciate your encouragement and the fact that someone is "following" what one is doing is really supportive! :)
In this case, the disorganization is more evident comparing with the Bougereau master copy.
I agree with you concerning RP. Is terrific, I learning a lot from there.
And yes, going to GCA is a dream come true! Of course I'd like be a core student, but for now, doing a couple of workshops is more than enough!
